To become a SpeedyPOS Value Added Reseller, please contact us directly by filling out this form or call as 1 (800) 663-5750. Once you sign up, we will ship you your SpeedyStart Partner Package, including all the sales and marketing material you will need to get started selling SpeedyPOS. How much does it cost to become a VAR?The one time sign up fee to become a SpeedyPOS Value Added Reseller is just $450. The fee gets your great discounts on the software and gives you access to our sales and marketing material, such as brochures, videos, and demo versions. Plus, you can go through our guaranteed implementation process to learn the software with a free, not-for-resale (NFR) single user license. If there is a fit, you can use this single user NFR license in your business, otherwise, it makes a great selling tool. What is the retail selling price?SpeedyPOS is a great value for your customers, starting at $985.00 for a single user license, including integrated Point of Sale, Inventory Control, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Accounting, Customer Management, E-commerce (integrated web site plus hosting for one year), WeMail - integrated E-mail Marketing, plus implementation, training and 1 year of support from Windward Software Inc. What does yearly support cost for my customers?The optional yearly maintenance package, including support and updates, starts at $246.00/year for a single user license. E-commerce hosting and WeMail E-mail Marketing are also available, starting at $99 and $150 for the year. What types of organizations are eligible to become SpeedyPOS Value Added Resellers?The SpeedyPOS VAR Program is a great fit for Computer Hardware or Software Resellers, Computer Service Shops, Consultants, other Independent Sales Organizations. Whether you have been selling Retail Point of Sale software solutions for years, or are considering expanding your product line to include Point of Sale, SpeedyPOS is a great solution to sell. Because SpeedyPOS is so easy to use, it's a great entry into the world of Point of Sale for both you and your customers, or a simple addition to your product line if you are already selling hospitality point of sale, or other retail solutions. Are VARS required to sell specific hardware?No. At Windward Software, we sell only software point of sale solutions and do not require our customers to use specific hardware. SpeedyPOS will work with most standard point of sale hardware devices. We have also partnered with several hardware distributors that you may choose to purchase from. SpeedyPOS is suitable for single location retail shops, up to a maximum of 10 user licenses. Should your customer require more user licenses or locations, we can easily transition them up to our enterprise solution, Windward System Five. What is the training process for VARs to learn the software?SpeedyPOS is easy to use, simple to learn and fast to implement. As a SpeedyPOS VAR, you can go through our guaranteed implementation process to learn the software with a free, not-for-resale (NFR) single user license of SpeedyPOS. Utlize our library of over 1000 short training videos and one-on-one telephone time with a SpeedyPOS Implementation Specialist (IS) to learn at your own pace. Plus, if there is a fit, you can use this single user NFR license in your business. Otherwise, keep it on your computer and use it as a demonstration version for your customers - it makes a great selling tool. What is the training process for my customers to learn the software?Customers are assigned an Implementation Specialist (IS) to guide them through their Custom Curriculum - our custom training plan that utlizes our library of training videos to allow customers to set up and use the software at their own pace, with the support and guidance they need.
